U.S. access and identity management giant Okta laid off 180 employees on Tuesday, the company confirmed to TechCrunch – just over one year after it let go of 400 workers.

The company also conducted another workforce reduction in February of 2023 that affected 300 employees.

While Okta did not share how many employees it has after its latest round of layoffs, doing the math, it had around 5300 employees this time in 2024.

In December, the company reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $665 million, up 14% from the prior year third quarter.
