Keyshawn Davis claims he’s getting an extra “20%” for his purse due to WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk pushing him when they were on stage posing during their face-off after today’s weigh-in ahead of Friday’s fight at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City.

Davis says that push from Berinchyk will result in 20% more money, and he will use the dough to purchase another house to rent it out. He said he would buy two homes with the dough he was getting for Friday’s fight, but he’s now getting three.

If it’s true that Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs) is losing 20% of his purse for the push, that’s bad for him because he was abused by Keyshawn during the final press conference, repeatedly being called a “racist” because of an anonymous box of bananas and Watermelons delivered to Davis’s hotel room by room service.

Keyshawn had no proof of who sent the box, yet he felt free to label Berinchyk a racist throughout the final press conference in front of the many people watching. For Berinchyk to lose 20% of his purse after being assaulted verbally by Keyshawn is sad.

If Berinchyk wins, it won’t be as bad, but still, it was wrong the way that Keyshawn verbally abused him with the racist comment during the press conference. Someone from Top Rank should have pulled Keyshawn aside and told him to clamp his mouth.

“My bad, Berinchyk team, and I was going to say that today until he pushed me,” said Keyshawn Davis on social media about how he was going to apologize to WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk for calling him a “racist” repeatedly during the final press conference this week after receiving a box of bananas and watermelons.

“I’m calmed down now. I’m not tripping on that s*** for real, but Berinchyk and them, my bad for calling you out in front of the whole entire world. I understand now why y’all because you don’t want to look racist. The Ukrainians are respectful people just like ‘The Businessman.’ They wouldn’t take it that far.

“So when [Teofimo] made that little video on Twitter, it was smart promotion. He promoted himself very well, but I hope he gets a fight off that because he’s not getting a fight against me. I don’t want to fight him. He’s racist,” said Keyshawn about Teofimo Lopez.

I don’t believe Keyshawn when he says he won’t fight Teofimo. If that fight were offered to him, he’d take it in a hot second, because he’s not getting the huge dough from fighting the likes of Berinchyk, Miguel Madueno, and Gustavo Lemos that a clash against Teofimo would pay him.

“I tried to get to him. There was so much apology holding me back,” said Keyshawn about being held back after being pushed by Berinchyk on the stage after the weigh-in. I was running those security guards over. He pushed me and then he left the stage and tried to go around back. I jumped off the stage and met him around back. One dude bear-hugged me.

‘No Mas’ Threat

“There’s one bright side. I get another 20%. He’s making more money than Lemos. So that 20% is going to be a mother s****,” said Davis about getting more money now because he was shoved by Berinchyk. “I’ll use that 20% and buy a house and rent it out. I was going to buy two cribs after this. Now, I f*** around and buy three.

“Y’all know we’re making great money. So that 20%. Millions at 12-0, about to be 13. I’m going to break his jaw. I don’t even want to knock him out in the first round no more. I want to beat on him. I’m just going to keep beating on him each round. He don’t want to come out of his corner. He’ll be ‘no mas.’ He’s Ukrainian, so he can’t say that. I’m going to say, ‘No mas’ for him,” said Keyshawn.
