Tyson Fury posted a short workout clip on social media, showing him hitting the back in what some fans view as a sign that he’s coming out of retirement to fight Anthony Joshua.

Fury, 36, looked slow and sluggish, hitting the bag in the brief video clip. The three Deontay Wilder and two Oleksandr Usyk fights took a lot out of him, leaving the weak, slow guy seen in the video. I guess that doesn’t matter. British fans still want to see Fury fight. I have a little Irish blood in me, and I never want to see him again inside the ring.

Cash Dynasty

If Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) is coming out of retirement, it’s for the dough. The way ‘The Gypsy King’ looked hitting the bag, he’d be easy work for anyone in the top 15. Oleksandr Usyk had a hard time with him because he’s small and in his late 30s.

Fury can make hundreds of millions fighting Joshua two or three times and create a dynasty for his family with that cash. Those two British heavyweights are well past it but were never that good. If the Saudis get involved, Tyson can make untold riches for two fights against AJ. The downside for UK fans is that the matches will surely be staged in Riyadh.

AJ’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, will be happy seeing Fury working out because he can’t stop yakking about the fight. It’s believed that Hearn and Joshua are purposefully holding out, waiting to see if Fury will come out of retirement before deciding on their next fight. If Joshua is going to get beaten in his next fight, it should be against Tyson.

They could have pulled the trigger on the rematch with Daniel Dubois ages ago or taken on Josph Parker. Neither of those fights would bring Joshua and Hearn anywhere near the money that the ‘Battle of Britain’ would.

It’s hard to believe UK fans still want to see Joshua and Fury fight. The fight has passed its sell-by-date years ago, and now it would be just about wanting too faded guys to go at it. The fight wouldn’t sell with U.S fans, but there’s still a market for it in England and perhaps Saudi Arabia.
